Our tunable capacitor technology offers a very high capacitance density, enabling large capacitor values in small spaces. Our tunable technology integrates this with high quality resistors and inductors and advanced packaging techniques, achieving high component density so that passive circuits can now be many times smaller.
In addition, the voltage controlled tunability of our passive technology often eliminates the need to overdesign circuits such as filters in order to compensate for device tolerances. An accurately tuned minimum design filter will replace a higher component count, overdesigned filter while assuring spec compliance.
Finally, a single tunable circuit such as a filter or matching network may be tuned across several operating frequency bands and take the place of two or more fixed-value circuits.
All this results in a reduced circuit board footprint for module vendors and OEM's, allowing them reduce overall size or to add more functions in the same space.

Using thin-film ferroelectric materials, our Variable Integrated Passive technology provides high-capacitance density so that integrated capacitor devices can now be 100X smaller.
